The closest major airports to Skagway are in Juneau, Alaska and Whitehorse, Yukon Territory Canada. THERE ARE NO DIRECT JET FLIGHTS INTO SKAGWAY. It is always a two step process to visit us. There is no air service of any kind between Skagway and Whitehorse.

Skagway is at the end of the Klondike Highway from Whitehorse Yukon Canada. The Klondike Highway is stunning and accessible from the contiguous USA, Canada, and the mainland of Alaska. So if you drive, rent a car, or get a ride, come on down, it’s one of the most scenic drives in North America. From Whitehorse, Yukon territory, Canada: Bus/taxi/private ride option with the White Pass Yukon Route Railway of part way. This is because the rail only runs in the summer and only as far as Carcross or Frasier. So a portion of the ride would be by bus from Whitehorse to Carcross or Frasier.
